Biofinity® Update
Biofinity® has changed the wear schedule of the Biofinity® contact lenses. The current Continuous Wear schedule of up to 29 nights/ 30 days will no longer be valid after the 26th May 2024. This is due to the manufacturer of your Biofinity® contact lens amending the wear schedule in preparation for changes to the medical device regulations that affect contact lenses.
You are still able to wear your Biofinity® contact lenses for Daily lens wear (0 nights/ 1day) or Extended Wear which is for up to 6 nights/ 7 days wear. After the 6th night/7th day you must remove your contact lenses, clean and store the contact lenses in their case while you sleep and can then use the same contact lens for up to 30 days use.
We would like to reassure you that this is a change to the wear schedule only and there are no other changes to the specification, safety or performance of your Biofinity® contact lenses.
