About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Frame Stock Controller to manage frame inventory centrally and across all branches. You will ensure optimal stock availability, maintaining the appropriate quantity and assortment of frames in each branch to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage centrally stocked designer and core frame ranges
  • Conduct daily reviews of branch stock levels against approved blueprints
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch daily replenishment orders to 42 branches
  • Raise purchase order requests when central stock reaches reorder points
  • Monitor and adjust reorder points to balance stock availability and minimise obsolescence
  • Manage obsolescence and coordinate branch stock transfers
  • Process goods-in, perform quality checks, and ensure accurate put-away of new stock
  • Conduct regular stock counts for central inventory within Optix
  • Coordinate and support branch stock counts
  • Maintain master data for frames in Optix (including pricing, coding, and product details)
  • Manage product phase-in and phase-out processes
  • Oversee group stationery orders, mail in/out processes and banking administration.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of frame quality standards and quality control processes
  • Proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft Excel
  • Strong numeracy skills and supply chain awareness
  • Sound understanding of stock control methodologies, including reorder point planning
  • Highly diligent, process-oriented, and detail-focused
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with branch teams
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with a proactive approach to process optimisation
