We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser to support our practices across Glasgow. This position is full time 37.5 hours per week over 5 days. Please note that we have an opportunity to make this role full time if the candidate was able to travel to locations such as Stonehaven and Fraserburgh.

The right candidate must be:

-a qualified Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser and have a valid driving licence

- able to demonstrate an aptitude for working as a team member in promoting Hearing Care within an Optical environment

- passionate about providing high quality care

- enthusiastic for working in a fast paced environment

Core duties include;

- Carrying out examinations of patient's ears to determine the health of the outer and inner ear

- Carrying out hearing assessments to determine the possible need for hearing correction

- Carrying out wax removals as required (training will be provided if necessary)

- Providing the best advice on which hearing systems may be most suitable for patient's hearing loss and lifestyle requirements

- Programming these hearing aids and completing a rehabilitation process with the patient through a series of follow up appointments

- Managing hearing clinics, diary management and liaising with suppliers regarding products and technology requirements and stock
