Meet the Team
Claire
Dispensing OpticianClaire has worked in the optical industry for over 29 years and has been with the Helensburgh branch since 2019. Claire qualified as a Dispensing Optician in 2001, her knowledge and expertise of our range of frames, sunglasses and opthalmic lenses are fantastic. Claire is extremely empathetic towards patients with hearing loss, as she wears hearing aids herself, she can also help you book your hearing test with the audiologist and give you advice from personal experience.
Sarah
Practice ManagerSarah is the newest member of our team. Sarah has worked as an optical assistant for eight years before recently becoming the practice manager and has great experience in dispensing and customer service. Sarah has a slight glasses obsession, she has a different pair of glasses for every day of the week! When you visit, it is likely Sarah will help you pick out and fit your favourite frame from our collection.
Susie
ReceptionistSusie has amazing experience in customer service and will give you a friendly, warm welcome into the branch. Susie has a great knowledge about our contact lenses and hearing care services. She will help you book all of your appointments, as well as keeping you up to date with our services. Susie also has a glasses obsession, and can help you pick out stylish frames from our fantastic collection. Susie is about to start some training courses in dispensing to extend her knowledge of opthalmic lenses.
Kirsty
OptometristKirsty has been with Duncan and Todd for four years, recently moved from the Mannofield branch to join our team. Kirsty has been qualified in optometry for 11 years, is fully experienced in the enhanced OCT eye service since qualifying, is IP qualified and has completed the NES glaucoma award. Kirsty will give you a thourough eye examination and give you the best recomendations for your glasses and eye health. She is a credit to our team, has a bubbly personality and loves taking her dog on nature walks.
